The highlight of our nikko trip! The skin was fried but didn’t feel very heavy. Usually, I can’t eat too much fried food in one sitting without feeling super bloated but not this. The red bean filling wasn’t too sweet. It was just right. An overall amazing combination. The owners are very nice too! I dropped mine and she offered me another one for free.

This shop right outside the train station had amazing fried Tofu skin desserts. They are made fresh and filled with sweet red beans. The owners were very nice and offered free ones after unfortunately we dropped one of them. It is a must try in Nikko.

The most memorable snack I had in Japan! Bought them just when I was about to catch train back to Tokyo and I regretted not buying more. Definitely going back to Nikko one day for this scrumptious treat

Tanon Tangkoskul

Delightful snack once you arrived at Tobu station. Crisp and salty on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside. Just....yumm..... You can't miss the shop, come out of the station cross the cross way on the right side of the station. The shop should be on your right hand side with manju display infront of the shop.
